This article talks about early childhood education. The author of the article Mary Sanchez mentions "American 15-year-olds were ranked 17th in science and an unimpressive 25th in math when compared with their peers in other countries." I think that is pretty sad that we are considered a wealthy nation full of dummies and dropouts. President Obama suggests children around ages 3-4 go to pre-school to start early education believing it will decrease drop out rates and increase higher education. Many parents dislike this suggestion because they think they are to blame for their kids education. They also believe it goes against their faith.
